Most evenings i can be seen either running or biking around the country lanes around home, the tyre is also ready for the polar training sessions that are due to start soon; I have also done a few polaris challenges (48hr mountain biking events) around the country. 2005 was my first season of triathlons and this has given me a number of targets to beat in 2006, (2004 had an aborted start – long story involving forklift truck and leg!), and when I have a bit of spare time I also like playing around with my Caterham 7. Oh! and I try and fit in a couple of weeks a year skiing in Chamonix. Special
qualities (that I bring to the team) Being myself really, I like to think that I am a positive person with the ability to look at difficult situations and turn them into something more fun. Why? (am I doing this
ridiculous challenge??) What an opportunity; do
something that very few people have ever done and raise money for a good cause
at the same time. There is always
the thought of winning as well!
